Each Employment Offer Letter sets down the terms of the offer of employment you make to a candidate, and should include the job title, the terms of the offer, details of any probationary period, whether the offer is conditional upon, say, satisfactory references.

Offer letters are important in order to avoid a dispute about the terms of the role. If you ask potential employees to complete medical questionnaires, these should not be sent out until an offer of employment is made.
